Report: Amazon Workers Planning Black Friday Walk-Out To Protest ‘Inhumane’ Conditions

Amazon is one of the largest and most popular companies in the world and New York City recently gave them over a billion dollars in tax breaks just to agree to move an office to Queens. However, Amazon doesn’t exactly have a stellar record when it comes to treating their employees well.

You might remember Tucker Carlson interviewing an Amazon employee who lives in her car.

Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year and Amazon workers in the UK are apparently planning to put Amazon in a difficult position on Friday.

From Daily Mail:

Amazon’s Black Friday sales could be severely disrupted by walk-outs over what staff have called ‘inhumane conditions’ at five UK warehouses.

Insiders at the GMB Union have said protests in Rugeley, Milton Keynes, Warrington, Peterborough and Swansea could clash with the shopping surge at the end of this week causing problems for the online giant.

Sources told BuzzFeed News staff have been ‘knocked unconscious’ and suffered broken bones while at work for Amazon.

Doesn’t look like this should affect the U.S. too much but you never know.

There’s no doubt that Amazon could treat workers better.

Pretty interesting how liberals have no problem giving big corporations a pass these days. Didn’t always used to be like that.
