The mainstream media have tried to create the illusion that all the people in the migrant caravan are brain surgeons, rocket scientists, women, and children. Obviously, that’s ridiculous. In reality, there are some people in the caravan that have no business entering the United States.
Don’t take my word for it. Take it from the Tijuana police.
Local police officers in Tijuana arrested 34 caravan migrants for misdemeanor charges including drug possession and public drunkenness. They were turned over to Mexican immigration authorities.
Through a news release, Tijuana Police revealed that under order from the mayor, they began carrying out various inspections and checkpoints, netting 34 arrests. Some migrants were reportedly in possession of methamphetamine and cocaine.
This week, Tijuana’s Mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum sparked controversy claiming that any migrant who does not respect the law will be arrested and turned over to Mexican immigration authorities.
Make no mistake. There are plenty of criminals in this caravan and it’s incredibly irresponsible not to talk about it.
From The Daily Mail:
The Department of Homeland Security said more than 500 criminals were traveling in the migrant caravan at the San Ysidro border crossing on Monday.
Officials would not reveal how they identified the criminals, but said most of the individuals were adult men and teenage boys, according to Fox News.
The United States closed off northbound traffic for several hours at the busiest border entry point from Mexico to install new security barriers amid rumors that the caravan was preparing to rush the crossing.
United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen slammed the caravan’s members earlier Monday for ‘purposely causing disruptions’ and included pictures of US troops lined up in front of the barbed-wire fences.
