Liberals like to mock conservatives for being concerned about transgender bathrooms which is weird because Democrats always pretend to be the party of science. However, they sure don’t seem to care very much about biology. In liberal land, men can be women and women can be men. All that matters is what people believe they are in their minds. It’s obviously nuts but it also causes problematic situations when those backward ideas are implemented in public life.
For example, in Florida a teacher almost lost his job because he didn’t feel like watching a female undress in a boys locker room.
From The Daily Wire:
A physical education teacher in Florida was punished for refusing to oversee a biologically female middle schooler who identifies as male potentially get undressed in the boys’ locker room. The school, stunningly, allowed the female student to have access to the boys’ locker room without so much as informing the male students who would be sharing the locker room with the girl or the students’ parents.
According to a compliant letter from Liberty Counsel to Pasco County School District, the female student caught “boys (literally) with their pants down, causing them embarrassment and concern by the fact that they had been observed changing by an obvious girl,” reports The Federalist.
According to Liberty Counsel attorney Richard Mast, the male teacher, who is also a coach at the school, was first threatened to be put on administrative leave via email; he was informed that his refusal to oversee a potentially undressed female in the locker room would “not be tolerated.”
Ask yourself a question. Would you be alright with your young son or daughter being in that situation? Would that be a problem at all?
Odds are you wouldn’t be alright with that and you would most likely would be upset if your child’s school never even told you about that policy which appears to be what happened here.
From The Federalist:
It appears Pasco schools adopted their transgender policies with no notice to their elected school board, parents, or voters. Instead, they were implemented after the district hired Jackie Jackson-Dean, a school psychologist, as a LGBT liason. Her website lists her as the “primary author of the school district’s [LGBT] best practices guide,” which names her as its”lead content developer.” That guide says transgender pronouns, locker room, bathroom, dress code, and sports access are a student’s “right.” About overnight school trips, it says:
Schools should work with the student and their family to devise a plan for the trip, based on the student’s comfort level. Remember, schools have an obligation to not disclose the student’s transgender status to other students or parents unless the student has provided explicit permission to do so (emphasis added).
