One thing that many of the Obama administration had in common was a very high opinion of themselves, given most were 30-somethings with scant experience and a lot of ignorant ideas. So it’s pretty amusing when one of those officials commits a big gaffe while trying to attack President Donald Trump.
As Twitchy notes:
Twitter isn’t hard unless you’re a sanctimonious, self-centered, virtue-signaling waste of space who used to work for Obama. Samantha Power saw a tweet from the popular and well-known parody account of the North Korean government, DPRK, and thought it was real.
Now, most people on social media know that @dprk_news is a parody account that mocks North Korea. Indeed, it’s well known for its funny posts.
But apparently, Power, former US Ambassador to the UN, isn’t among them, despite the fact that the account has been in operation for years and was in operation while she was the UN ambassador. You may recall that Power was allegedly responsible for a ton of unmaskings of Trump team members during the campaign and there has never been a justifiable explanation given for her alleged actions.
The account made a reference to Trump not being able to attend a commemoration event in France because his helicopter was grounded by weather.
That’s the latest thing that the left is now trying to hit Trump with, as though they actually care about anything pertaining to the military other than how to use it to whack Trump.
And Power proved that yet again, retweeting the comment and adding her own.
How to hilariously embarrass yourself while working to own Trump.
The AP’s Matt Lee gave her a little heads-up:
The parody account also fooled NEWSWEEK national security correspondent Jeff Stein.
People couldn’t believe she once held Nikki Haley’s job. Can you imagine Haley doing this? Or what the media would have done to her had she done it?
