CNN has feuded with President Trump since day 1 and their long-running feud is not ready to end any time soon.
The latest chapter of the feud involves CNN refusing to run Trump’s new campaign advertisement because CNN claims it is “racist.”
The ad features the looming migrant caravan and illegal immigrant Luis Bracamontes, who infamously killed two police officers.
Donald Trump Jr. said in a tweet featuring the ad that CNN was refusing to run it and they replied by saying it was because it was “racist.”
“CNN refused to run this ad… I guess they only run fake news and won’t talk about real threats that don’t suit their agenda. Enjoy. Remember this on Tuesday,” Trump Jr. tweeted.
Here’s their take…
CNN’s public relations responded to the tweet saying, “CNN has made it abundantly clear in its editorial coverage that this ad is racist. When presented with an opportunity to be paid to take a version of this ad, we declined. Those are the facts.”
And CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski tweeted, “CNN refused to run this ad because it is explicitly racist, per @CNNPR. And as a company we don’t support racism or take money to amplify it.”
In a series of tweets, the Daily Caller’s Benny Johnson noted why CNN is wrong about their claim.

Lemon’s comment was widely criticized as racist by many people on social media and on conservative media. Here’s more on the comment, via Yahoo:
CNN anchor Don Lemon said it was important to stop demonizing individual groups over terrorism concerns, before immediately saying the real threat was from “white men.”
“We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them,” said Lemon during an appearance on “Cuomo Primetime” Tuesday evening. “There is no travel ban on them … they had the Muslim ban. There is no ‘white guy ban.’ So what do we do about that?”
Lemon did not cite any specifics or data and went unchallenged by Cuomo. A rep for CNN did not immediately respond to request for comment from TheWrap.
It’s the second time this month that Lemon has delved into divisive racial rhetoric. On Oct. 9, a panel on his CNN program ripped into Kanye West for his support of Donald Trump.
“He’s an attention whore, like the president. He’s all of a sudden now the model spokesperson. He’s the token negro of the Trump administration,” said CNN contributor Tara Setmeyer as Lemon laughed along.
“Kanye West is what happens when negroes don’t read,” former Congressman Bakari Sellers added. “And we have this now and now Donald Trump is going to use it and pervert and he’s going to have someone who can stand with him and take pictures.”
As the Daily Caller also reports, Tucker Carlson similarly criticized Lemon’s comments.
Carlson called the comments “indefensible” and said, “when you say something awful that you can’t defend, don’t try to defend it. Apologize, explain what you meant and move on.”
“If you didn’t like what I said, that’s your problem. You notice the lack of contrition when Don Lemon said we have to start doing something about Americans of a certain skin color, it turns out it wasn’t a mistake, he meant that. He didn’t apologize because nobody in his world asked him to. They are all saying pretty much the same thing,” Carlson continued.
And, “This is a common view in the Democratic Party, it’s one of the things they are running on. Now lots of Americans won’t like that message obviously, Democrats are not concerned about that. They no longer care what those Americans think. They’ve given up on trying to represent them.”
