Ocasio-Cortez UNHINGED: Calls Trump And GOP ‘Monsters,’ ‘Brutal White Supremacists,’ And ‘Xenophobes’

New York Democrat congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is back in the headlines after her latest campaign email is showing a new side of ugly politicking.

The New Yorker first made headlines for her unexpected primary election upset over Democrat incumbent Joe Crowley. Then, people slowly learned that as a political outsider, she was unfamiliar with basic concepts like jobs and unemployment, the cost of entitlements, the budget, and the cost of the military or capitalism in general. Then, the 29-year-old was called out again for misrepresenting or flat out lying about a number of issues.

But, after surviving her first few mishaps, the new face of the Democrat Party is back: with a hate-filled campaign email which paints Trump and Republicans as responsible for the tragic shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburg. She correlates Republicans to “brutal white supremacist forces” and said people who want the military to defend the southern border with Mexico are “xenophobes.”

From the Daily Wire:

If her latest email to supporters provides any indication, the future socialist congresswoman from New York, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is ginning up voter enthusiasm by scaring them out of their wits, warning them of the coming white supremacist apocalypse that will surely come if the GOP wins the mid-terms in November.

Throughout the email, Ocasio-Cortez makes not a single campaign promise other than the promise to protect voters from the “white supremacist forces” that are apparently terrorizing the United States under President Trump.

The email is a doozy…Take a look (emphasis added):

“Six days from now, we can defeat the brutal white supremacist forces of anti-Semitism, anti-immigrant nativism, and racism,” said Ocasio-Cortez, via the Daily Wire. “We can hold accountable the cold-hearted monsters who have repeatedly attacked our health care. We can send a message to the bigots and billionaires that this country belongs to all of us. We can win if we show up on November 6. We must end Republican control of Congress and begin to reclaim our nation.”

A Democratic majority will not bring back the eleven Jewish people in Pittsburgh, massacred while they prayed. Or the two Black people gunned down days before at a Kroger grocery store in Kentucky. It won’t fully stop the relentless attacks against immigrants in America.

But on Sunday evening, Pittsburgh mourners—angry and broken-hearted like us—chanted ‘Vote! Vote! Vote!’ They understand the magnitude of the midterm election six days from today: that it affords us the chance to forge a powerful bulwark against Donald Trump’s hate and hold accountable the Republicans who have been complicit in every step of his toxic, self-serving, and destructive agenda. We must offer a path out of the darkness.

In what world is lowering unemployment levels across nearly every demographic considered a “destructive agenda?”

Ocasio-Cortez then applauds her own “grassroots organizing” and reminds her supporters that her campaign should not have won, except it did. She said she won her party’s nomination with “holes through my shoes and my feet were soaked.”

“We won,” the Democrat said. “Campaigns like ours aren’t supposed to win. But we did. And we can win again on Tuesday. Across the nation, progressives are on the verge of doing the impossible.”

She won the primary by a large margin, it is true, and she is expected to win the general election. So why continue to stir the pot and echo hateful rhetoric?

As the Daily Wire reports, she went back to her criticisms of Trump and Republicans:

This is our chance to take action in solidarity with everyone whose lives are threatened by the hate-filled policies of Trump and the GOP.

Our chance to push back against white supremacist forces across our nation, against the xenophobes who are militarizing the border, against the bigots who seek to erase our transgender families, against the apologists for sexual assault and the Islamophobes who sow hate to divide us.

The campaign was widely criticized online, here’s a couple responses:
