ICYMI: ‘Party Of Tolerance’ Unveils New Anti-Trump, Anti-Christian Hate Ads

On Friday, a twin pair of anti-Trump, anti-Christian posters turned up in New York City and quickly caused some controversy.

As the Western Journal reports, the posters were stamped “unlawfully” with the NYC Department of Sanitation logo and say “Keep NYC Trash Free.”

Depicted on each of the photos is a white person wearing a Make America Great Again Hat. The photos each include a reference to Christianity and one poster has a confederate heart symbol.

From Western Journal:

One of the posters’ designs is of a white woman wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat and holding a Bible.

The other is of a white man with a MAGA hat, with a Confederate flag heart tattoo, holding a drink from Chick-fil-A.

What’s most disturbing is the phrase printed in huge type over the designs, saying “Keep NYC Trash Free.” The posters have red ban symbols over the images of the people.

The NYC Department of Sanitation released the following statement to PIX 11: “These posters were not created or issued by the Department of Sanitation, and we do not condone unlawful defacement of City litter baskets or public property. We are looking into this matter.”

Here’s more on the posters, from CNS News:

A video by Fox News Insider contains a statement from Winston Tseng, a street artist and graphic design freelancer whose work has been featured in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. and who, according to Fox, posted the “art” to his Instagram account.

“For the record, I didn’t create or put up these posters. But if I did, I wouldn’t want people to take them so seriously, since they’re meant to reflect certain parts of our society and not meant to generalize beyond those,” said Tseng in the statement to Pix 11 News. “I’d just want the audience of my fellow ‘classist elitist New Yorkers’ to hopefully be entertained by the ‘unhelpful, tone-deaf message’ as they go about their day in this trash filled liberal bubble.”

Other posters allegedly made by the same artist depict a Boston Red Sox fan holding a Samuel Adams Beer. From Fox News Insider:

Others took aim at Boston sports fans, showing a screaming man in a Tom Brady jersey and a Boston Red Sox hat holding a Sam Adams beer.

The posters were not authorized by New York City officials, initially appearing on trash cans on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

Some have been removed, but others remain, according to PIX 11. Tseng denied that he was behind the posters in a statement to the station.
