Former FBI Director James Comey’s leap into the Democrat Party may not be going as smooth as he probably thought.
After finding common ground in resisting President Trump, Comey made the leap and fully endorsed the Democrat Party. In a tweet where Comey called Republicans in Congress “incapable,” the former director said that voters should support Democrat candidates in the upcoming congressional elections.
“This Republican Congress has proven incapable of fulfilling the Founders’ design that ‘Ambition must… counteract ambition.’ All who believe in this country’s values must vote for Democrats this fall,” Comey said in a tweet. “Policy differences don’t matter right now. History has its eyes on us.”

Incoming brick wall in 3… 2… 1…
Brian Fallon, who worked as a press secretary for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, plainly dismissed Comey’s support for Democrats.
As Washington Examiner reports, Fallon said Democrats want nothing to do with him.
“Democrats don’t want your endorsement, but thanks,” responded Fallon, who now leads a liberal advocacy group.

People who responded to Fallon had a mixed reaction concerning Comey’s endorsement:
Yes, Comey hurt the Democrats by reopening the Clinton email investigation without good cause and making it public. However, our country is in a desperate state and we need to unify around the Democratic Party as the Republicans have become the party of Trump and corruption

Hey – country before party applies to both sides.
An endorsement of democracy and the sanctity of our Constitution is not a partisan gesture, and should not be treated like one.
Regardless of considerable baggage.

Hey Brian-we’re pissed at him too, but………. we should all be OK with any Republican telling the masses to vote Democrat

Well, it looks as if we’re past the election and have reached the point where we have to save America from total collapse, so we best take every able hand we can get.

I’m a Democrat and I do want @Comey ‘s endorsement. This is not about party it’s about Country

We need a blue tsunami this Fall. I understand your words, but if he can bring in any votes we should welcome it for the country.

If @Comey had been even handed in his revelations we wouldn’t be in this mess.

This a million times

Many of the people who responded to Fallon said something along the lines of Democrats needing every vote they could get so they would be happy to accept Comey’s vote and support. Their desperation makes sense as Trump has the economy booming, the stock Market is florishing under him, unemployment is hitting historic lows and millions of Americans are paying less in taxes as a result of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act – a law no Democrat lawmaker voted in favor of.
