Bongino SLAMS New Mueller Indictments: ‘There’s No Collusion In There!’

Another year, more time spent on an investigation which has produced no evidence of collusion, Dan Bongino former Secret Service agent and host of “The Dan Bongino Show Podcast” said over social media.

During an interview with Fox News and later over social media, Bongino spoke on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s new indictments of Russian intelligence officers and said there is no evidence of collusion found in the legal documents.

Here’s Bongino during a segment with Fox & Friends:

A number of people responded to Bongino and pressed him on the claim, which he easily defended. Take a look:

Bongino and others have expressed that the timing of Mueller’s indictments come just days before President Trump is set to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland.

As ABC News reports, Democrats pounced on the indictments and tried to use them for justification for Trump to cancel his summit with Putin:

“These indictments are further proof of what everyone but the president seems to understand: President Putin is an adversary who interfered in our elections to help President Trump win,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said in a statement Friday.

Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, told reporters that if Trump is to proceed with the meeting, he’s afraid he’d be taken advantage of by Putin.

“In going forward, there should be no one-on-one meeting between this president and Mr. Putin,” Warner told reporters at the Capitol Friday. “There needs to be other Americans in the room.”

“Secondly, the president and his team are not willing to make the facts of this indictment a top priority of the meeting in Helsinki. Then, the summit should be canceled,” he said.
