The families of the victims of the Texas church shooter had not even been informed of their loss before liberals began blaming the National Rifle Association for the crime. But conservative actor James Woods destroyed those lies with one amazing tweet.
One of the first to attack the NRA and try to tie the killer to the gun owner’s group was shrill MSNBC host Joy Reid who exclaimed that the NRA was “soaked and bathed in blood.”
The @NRA is soaked and bathed in blood. How do its adherents sleep at night?

Reid was hardly alone, of course. Thousands of liberals on social media jumped to the attack blaming the murders on the NRA.
But, in the wake of all this nonsense, actor James Woods had the perfect reply to the Joy Reids of the world.
“The actual facts are these,” Woods Tweeted, “not one single @NRA member has been involved in a mass shooting. Not. One. Ever.”

Indeed, with all the mass shootings we’ve seen in the last few decades, not one of the killers was revealed as an NRA member. Indeed, few of them were even center-right politically. Most have been extremist liberals, socialists, outcasts and mental patients, not conservative Republicans who belong to the NRA.
The NRA’s Executive Director, Chris Cox, made a similar comment recently, noting that NRA members are some of the most law-abiding groups of people in America today.
According to CNS News, Cox appeared on Fox News in October after the mass shooting at a country music concert in Las Vegas.
“But the truth is,” Cox said of the victims of the Vegas shooter, “there were NRA members at that concert. There were NRA members shot at that concert, and NRA members murdered at that concert. So the American people are looking for answers, and so are we.”
“And that’s the one thing that is consistent, is they blame the one organization whose members don’t commit the crimes,” he added.
Cox concluded then with a direct address to the banners:
“In the aftermath of the evil and senseless attack in Las Vegas, the American people are looking for answers as to how future tragedies can be prevented. Unfortunately, the first response from some politicians has been to call for more gun control. Banning guns from law-abiding Americans based on the criminal act of a madman will do nothing to prevent future attacks. This is a fact that has been proven time and again in countries across the world. In Las Vegas, reports indicate that certain devices were used to modify the firearms involved. Despite the fact that the Obama administration approved the sale of bump fire stocks on at least two occasions, the National Rifle Association is calling on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) to immediately review whether these devices comply with federal law. The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semi-automatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations. In an increasingly dangerous world, the NRA remains focused on our mission: strengthening Americans’ Second Amendment freedom to defend themselves, their families and their communities. To that end, on behalf of our five million members across the country, we urge Congress to pass National Right-to-Carry reciprocity, which will allow law-abiding Americans to defend themselves and their families from acts of violence.”
Indeed, with the latest shooting, it was two good guys with their own, personally owned guns, who helped put an end to the Texas church shooter’s rampage.
